Beautiful Holiday Cottage in Snowdonia, North Wales - Sleeps 6Bod Hyfryd is a beautifully renovated end of terrace cottage in the centre of the peaceful village of Penmachno. Built in 1865 this traditional, stone walled, slate roofed cottage has been modernised throughout and has all the facilities to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. Penmachno is ideally positioned to explore both the Snowdonia National Park and the Conwy Valley. The local towns of Betws-y-Coed and Llanwrst have a good range of shops which between them cover the majority of needs. The open plan lounge has a wood burning stove, flat screen television, freesat box and DVD player. The kitchen-diner has an electric stove, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A utility/drying room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and a second toilet. There is full central heating and a large secure shed for storage of bicycles or kayaks.
Upstairs are three cosy bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower-bath. The first bedroom has a kingsize bed, the second a twin room and the third bunkbeds.
Prices quoted include the booking fee and a seasonal heating supplement. Towels and bedding are supplied. Additional kindling and logs can be bought from the local garages in Llanwrst or Betws-y-Coed.
We have a telephone (for incoming calls only) and have recently installed wireless internet. The signal for mobile phones in the valley is very limited.
We have a Friday changeover and accept short, 3 or 4 night, breaks off season. Bod Hyfryd is a no smoking property. We allow one dog.
