If you plan to come by car there is on road parking outside the cottage and the cottage garden which considerably extends the available roadside. Please do not park in front of other properties in the village.

Public transport to Penmachno is limited to a bus that runs from the village to Betws-y-Coed and Llanrwst 8 times a day Monday to Saturday. Betws-y-Coed is the nearest railway station which connects Snowdonia to the North Wales Coast and Chester.

Several local taxi firms provide a good service.

For most journeys it will be easiest to travel by car. Parking in and around North Wales is not normally a problem. Be aware that the North Wales police are notorious for speed enforcement.
